The most important thing you can do is start. You don't need to get it perfect straight away.
Don't overwhelm yourself with "I must buy all these eco friendly products", "I must change every daily routine I have to be super eco friendly" - take your time. Do what you can.
Start with just one change. Whether you decide to swap your laundry liquid for an Tru Earth laundry strips or decide to get a reusable coffee cup for your regular on the go coffees, just start making changes.
Do it at your own pace.
A quote that sticks in my mind: “We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions doing it imperfectly”
There are some easy swaps you can make - check out my Easy Eco Swaps. But you certainly don't need to start throwing things away and buying all the bamboo cutlery. Take a look at what you have around the home already.
I definitely recommend taking a look at Sustainableish with Jen Gale.
Jen does a great job of giving you the facts without overwhelming you. She's built up a fantastic community that shows it's ok to not have the Instagram worthy zero-waste set up and she focuses on showing you ways to be sustainable-ish whilst still dealing with every day life.
So, to reiterate, the most important thing you can do is start.
